Red, Red Wine….(UB40)

UB40?!! I wish. I be nearing 50…..oh is that the wine talking?!

Today we hit the St Emilion region of the Bordeaux region on a wine tour where we were there only customers. We toured the gorgeous quaint town of St Emilion founded in the first century and surrounded by vineyards.

Then off to a wine tasting and tour of Chateau de Pressac, a Grand Cru estate in the region. The wine was rich and smooth and at 30 euro a bottle, my tasting was swallowed.

In the afternoon Tania and I strolled around the old town of Bordeaux, me with my fois gras baguette and Tania with her’s loaded with pate. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.
Tomorrow we are off to St Jean Pied de Port and the start of our Camino.

Have wine crate....will travel.
